Yes, I know. It’s been a long time since I last wrote. And now there’s so much going on, that I don’t even know where to start. We sold the house in Ohio and are officially in Florida. We were blessed that our house sold much sooner than we expected. Carter and I have been down here for six weeks living with my parents in Fernandina Beach. Heath was able to join us after the holidays. After interviewing and entertaining several offers I landed a job at an ad/PR agency in downtown Jacksonville. It’s back to work for me after over a year of being with Carter. Thank goodness my life is on fast forward right now or else I may breakdown at the thought of not having him at my side 24/7. Finding day care has been tough. No one has openings. And I have such high standards and me being a clean freak doesn’t help either. But today I was able to find a day care center on my way to work. It’s affiliated with the Catholic Church and has been running for a long time. Now I just pray that the teachers are able to handle my very active child.
We are looking for a house to rent for the time being. Doing this will give us time to get to know the areas, traffic, etc and hopefully make the buying process a little easier. We saw a house that we liked so now I’m just waiting for all the paper work to go through.
Well, that’s my life in a nutshell…Moving…Job…Daycare…House…Running after Carter…Sleep. I can’t wait to finally settle back down and get back to “normal.” And yes, I’ve got tons of pictures to upload to the site…
Yay, the blog is back! Can't wait to see some new pics from Florida. The moving pictures made me tear up. I mean, I know you've already moved and all, but something about seeing the moving van in front of your house...so sad!! Great memories of that house forever. Makes me crave Cherry Coke and LaRosa's meatball sub.....
